| Whoot for sporadic updates! I wonder if anyone still reads this. :O 0_o :D x_x SMILEY OVERLOAD!
I've spent the last few minutes calculating various ways I can score on each section of the APUSH exam (Friday, whoot whoot!) and still get a five. According to the scoring formula thing in my study guide book, if I get 80/80 on the multiple choice, I can get 1/9 on each of the essays and get a 5. So my goal is to get a 100% on the multiple choice section. Haha, jkjk.
Okay, to make this sound like a real blog, I will talk about other things currently pertaining to my life: 1. I got my yearbook yesterday. It's alright, I guess. 2. I took the SAT last Saturday. And that's all I have to say about that. Haha. 3. The season finale of The Amazing Race was last Sunday. Eric and Danielle won, arghha;dslfj;asdfjafs!!! Such a let down! I've wanted them to go home since the beginning, but they end up winning. Lame-o. 4. I've been having a lot of strange dreams lately. 0_o 5. Lots of things have been happening. :O
RANDOM! Crunch 'n Munch is amazing.

| Okay. I'm updating. Whoo!
So midterms have come and gone... well, actually, I have the 2nd part of my APUSH midterm on Monday, so they haven't really gone yet. Darn things. I took the PSAT on Wednesday, and that wasn't too fun. I think I pwned the writing section though, probably because there wasn't actually any writing involved. Yay for grammar.
I didn't have school yesterday and today because of quarter break, whoot whoot. Too bad I had too much stuff to do to really enjoy the two days off. Darn homework. I must say, junior year is shaping up to be a pretty crappy year. More homework + tougher classes + less sleep + more stress = junior year in a nutshell. Hah. And zomg, I think one of my best classes right now is AP Chem, which is ironic since last year chem was the only class I didn't get an A in (during my first semester). Nevermind that, my best class is mixed chorus. Heh. -_-
So... TV shows! The Amazing Race this season isn't that good, which makes me sad. :( But I still watch it because it's still awesome. I'm not really rooting for any team, but I do sorta like the Southern team because they're entertaining. I remember when the woman on that team said [after meeting the gay and Asian teams on the show], "I've never seen gay people or Asians in person before... I like them!" Lol, is that what it's like to live in the South? 0_o
Heroes is another cool show I've been watching. That show just sucks you into it and makes you have to watch it. Haha. The Japanese guy, Hiro, is awesome. And he's really the only character worth mentioning. ;D
Oh and zomg, I can't believe xanga has tags (and photoblogs and videos and a bunch of other stuff I probably won't ever use). I'm still waiting for threaded comments... *taps foot*
RANDOM! Why haven't I won $20,000 yet?

| I have a bunch of stuff to write about, but I really don't have the energy to write about it all... so here's a shortish version:
Las Vegas was fun! But it would have been funner (yeah, it's a word, okay?!) if it wasn't so freakin' hot outside. Most of the time I stayed in hotels because they had nice air conditioning. Haha. The Wowowee went well... sort of. They cut out this huge chunk of the show with Lito Camo (the person that wrote the Wowowee theme song and a bunch of other popular songs) because they didn't have enough time. But I was able to see him perform because I watched the rehearsal. Hah. But zomg, the Vegas Wowowee showed on TV today (I saw myself! haha yeah :D) and they edited out sooo many things. Those sneaky video-editing people. o.o
I ate at a buffet at the Aladdin. Lots of good food makes me happy. Haha. I also played some games at the Excalibur and won some new stuffed animal friends. Yay. :D On a not-so-happy note, my flight coming back to SF got delayed so when I got back home I had no time to do homework. Bah humbug.
I'm still not used to school yet. Too much homework. >.> I didn't do too well on some tests, which isn't the greatest way to start off the school year... I also have a ton of homework to do, but I've only done math so far. I seem to have this mentality that if I put off doing the homework, it'll go away. Too bad it doesn't work.
A few days ago, my cheek started swelling, so of course I was like "zomgwtf?!" I thought it might be caused by the wisdom teeth surgery, and I was right. I'm back on medication! Whoot whoot.
There were actually a bunch of other things I was going to write about, but my Chemistry textbook is staring at me and making me feel guilty about not reading it. Argh.
RANDOM! My hands are cold.

Yeah, I totally don't feel like doing homework right now. That might be because I only have 3 classes tomorrow, and I don't start school until 10am. Yay for Fridays and free period.
School has been... fine. Classes are okay for the most part. 5th period lunch is awesome, free period is awesome, and zero period is... well, as awesome as a zero period can be, I suppose. Mixed Chorus started today -- that's awesome too. Haha. I'm still not used to having English 7th period after having it 6th period for the past two years. And having Latin class on Fridays just doesn't feel right. Haha. Oh well, I guess I'll get used to it.
So... those people that I said were going to move into my house moved in last week. They're okay, I guess. Meh, I don't know. I'm going to miss having the house to myself while everyone is at work, but it's no big deal.
I'm going to Las Vegas this weekend! :D Yay. It's sort of sad though because my mom recently had to have surgery and now she can't go. :( But at least she won't be in the house alone while my dad, sister, and I are gone. I hope I don't have a lot of homework this weekend because doing homework while I'm in Vegas would not be cool. D:
Okay, I think I should start on some homework now so I don't have to do so much crap tomorrow morning. Tata for now!

| Yo!
I'm tired, but I don't feel like going to sleep. Haha. So time to blog!
School is now officially in session. Junior year, yo!
Thursday was the registration shiznat. My student ID picture looks horrible because I didn't fix my hair or anything and I smiled weirdly, but ohh well. I don't really care. I got demoted to a middle locker, but it's in a less-crowded place (sort of) so I'm happy. Anyways, after registration I went shopping with my sister. Fun, but tiring. Hahah. I bought clothes and some school supplies. Fun fun ^^
Friday was the first day of classes. I had to wake up at like 6am to get to zero period. Fun, eh? All the classrooms were remodeled with high-tech stuff... well, except for the science classrooms, which still had the crappy desks and wire coming from the ceiling. Haha. Anyways, all of my classes made a good impression on me on the first day... except for one. But I will keep that class anonymous just in case the teacher of that class has little spies going around. Hah.
Oh yeah, did I mention that I have a crapload of homework to do? And I think that I might actually have to work hard in ALL of my classes in order to do well. I have no slack-off classes this year. That makes me sad. =(
Okay, I think I keep nodding off, so sleeping might be a good thing to do now. Any typos/mistakes in this entry is due to my lack of sleep for the past few days. Tata for now! | | |
